- 6 oz crab meat, drained and flaked
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Optional dipping sauce: sweet chili sauce or soy sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.
- Assemble the Egg Rolls: Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, then fold the sides in and roll tightly. Use a bit of water to seal the edges.
- Fry the Egg Rolls: In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain and Serve: Remove the egg rolls from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use Room Temperature Cream Cheese: Softened cream cheese is easier to mix and will give you a smoother filling.
